Clear step by step instructions are included on the resource. What’s it for? This has been created to enable learners to find and display their own unique collection of ‘natural treasures’…feathers, leaves, grasses, flowers, berries (as long as they are safe!)…whatever is in season when you go on a nature hunt and whatever learners feel their Dad will enjoy! This resource has been designed to be provided per pupil to each make as a unique gift for Dads on Father’s Day. There is a space in the centre of the resource for learners to write on - ‘To’ and ‘from’ with a ‘Happy Father’s Day’ message displayed. Learners could also personalise the ‘sides’ of the resource with decorations ‘for’ their Dad (before the resource is assembled). Who’s it for? This resource has been designed for early years children, pupils in years one and two as well as older students who would enjoy collecting their own natural items to observe and enjoy.
